Target Audience

Although we want to collaborate with companies that provide sustainable mobility, we want our message to reach out to our real target audience: People who are sustainably aware and the millennials and generations who come after. Since half of the world´s population is living in cities and the number is most likely going to only increase, we need to be able to provide sustainable transportation methods for the people that will keep the city crowds flowing and while doing so, keeping our planet clean and a better place to live at the same time.

 

For that to be able to happen, we focus on companies in order to collaborate for sustainable mobility´s and we want to translate it in to concrete plans for the government and their citizens.

 

It is difficult to estimate the amount of people who care about things like green transportation, since some people are more aware of it then others. But one of our main goals are that we reach out to as many people as possible and there are almost half a million people living in Antwerp alone, we can assume that some of them are aware since it has been one of the main news topics in transportation industries and other industries as well. Therefore, our geographical target audience is located in the inhabitants of Antwerp.

Moreover, when considering the demographic target group, our focus is on more highly educated people with a higher income, as they are more environmentally aware according to research papers. Females are more likely to show environmentally friendly behavior and married people with children are also more probable to make sustainable decisions. However, young people with the age between 21 to 25 also have the greater tendency to integrate green behavior in their every day life. Thus, our target audience is focused on educated families who use public transport and are interested in learning more about it, as well as young people who have a sustainable mindset. The information displayed on our platforms will target these audiences.

 

We want to raise awareness and a possibility for everyone to an easy access to different parts of the city as efficient and green as possible. We also want for our target audience to understand the importance and the consequences if the green values are not followed. The quality of air will go down significantly and bigger risks for health issues will appear.
